Adding School Groups for the Trust

Insight is able to record any school groupings you may have in your Trust. This can be useful if, for example, you manage schools by region. You are also then able to filter and view aggregated data over those groups in many reports.

To set these up, open the School Groups page, via Trust Admin.

Initially, all your Trust schools will be in an (Ungrouped Schools) box.

Simply click Add Group to create a new one with a name of your choice.

Once you have added some groups, just drag and drop the school names into their appropriate group. There is no need to Save, changes are saved automatically as you go.

Reorder Groups allows you to define the sort order you want your groups to appear in, when displayed in reports etc.

Once created, school groups will appear on your Trust homepage.

They will also be available wherever the Filter Pupils or Group Pupils tools appear, including as a Table Headers option in Headline Reports.
