Finding and importing missing historical statutory assessment data
On occasion, you may have pupils join your school with gaps in their statutory data history.
The DfE maintain a service which allows you to search for, and download, any recorded statutory assessment data for pupils in your school.
The website is called Get Information About Pupil (GIAP) (replacing the old Key 2 Success service) and it works as follows.
You'll need to log in to GIAP using a DfE Signin account for your school.
You'll then have the option to search for pupils using UPN or name.
Download the pupils as a CTF.
Import them into Insight following part 2 of our Importing Pupils from a Common Transfer File guide.
You'll probably want to also import the CTF into your MIS. You could also import it into your MIS and then create a new CTF, from your MIS, to import into Insight. This would ensure that any contextual data would also be correct in the file.
