EYFS to KS1&2 subject mappings

When you load data into Insight's reports, sometimes you'll want to look at a single subject's outcomes across the school.
In places, this can be tricky, since the reception subject names differ from those at key stage 1 and 2, and since you have both Number and Numerical Patterns at EYFS in contrast to Maths at key stage 1 and 2.
Insight's solution is to map reception subjects to the core subjects at key stage 1 and 2. When you ask Insight to show Reading, Writing, and/or Maths, Insight will look for the subjects below for assessments made in the early years:
- Reading = Word Reading
- Maths = the lowest of Number and Numerical Patterns
- Writing = Writing
Example
This means that if you ask to look at, say, Maths across the school, Insight will pull in Maths assessments made at KS1 and KS2, and the lowest of Number and Numerical Patterns for any assessments made in early years. Like this:
