Mark Schemes: Age Range

The Age Range mark scheme allows a list of age ranges/bands to be defined by their minimum and maximum ages, expressed in months.
Each of these ranges can, optionally, have a name which will be used for assessments.
For example
The assessment evaluation then compares a pupil's chronological age, as of the assessment date, to the selected age range. This allows pupils working above, below and within the assessment ranges to be easily identified.
If an assessment doesn't have an assessed on date, Insight will use the mid-point of the half-term. Or for Entry Term (if you have one), the start of Autumn1.
If required, the age ranges may overlap. If a pupil age is within the assessed range, they will be evaluated as as Expected.
