Filters & Groups: Class

Filtering by Class

Many of Insight's reports can filter pupil by Class, for example, by going into: 

  1. Reports
  2. Tables
    Then select:
  3. Filter Pupils
  4. Class
Tip: If your classes don't appear, it may be because Insight doesn't have this information yet. Please see the guide: Assigning Classes to your Pupils

Grouping by Class

Many reports and tools support Grouping. You'll see the Group Pupils button anywhere that this function is supported. It is not possible to group in most data entry pages, such as the Objectives grid or Enter School Assessments.

If you need to compare pupils by classes then click the Group Pupils button and select Class:

  1. Group Pupils
  2. Class

This will display all pupils in the school, grouped into their classes for comparison.
